  • Greetings this beautiful cold evening! We had 13 degrees yesterday morning. Not sure what it was today. God is in control of it all. It does seem earlier this year than other years though.

Praise God my fabrics got found on Friday afternoon and they got delivered on Monday at noon. I worked out in my store all day on Monday so no school that day. But it is all on the shelf and pictures are all taken and need uploaded to my website. I also need to get the samples all ready to mail out.

On Tuesday I went up to the cheese store we go to and got 30-40# blocks of cheese. 20 of them are for people coming to a wedding this weekend at the mennonite church. I was loaded. A friend went with me and I took the baby (2 yr old). She likes to be the baby though. So no school on Tuesday either.

We did school the last 2 days now so we will see how far we get tomorrow. We are finally done with the first book in learning to read serries and have started the second one. Irene is also done with the first math light unit as well. We are still behind in Bible and language arts. But until they know more phonics I'm not doing language arts. They don't know how to read very much yet. So I'll hold off til they know it better.

Praise God for work as well. After having so little work Gerhard finnally has some again. A brother in the church has also called saying he has work to if he needs it. That is such a blessing. He has 2 jobs in Madison and he is working on one of those right now.

Well I need to go get busy and clean up the house and work on supper and do some more laundry.

    Heidi

I thought Irene was going to a private school this year. Did that change?

  • I would love 13 degrees. It was 70 here today. I can't wait for winter to arrive. What a blessing your fabric was found!
