We got around 12 inches of snow over the weekend and its snowing again today. Looks like we'll get another 4 inches or so.  We got home on Monday instead of Sunday due to the snowstorm in Wisconsin. The girls enjoyed more time with there cousins.

Its warmer again today. We got another 3 inches of snow last night. Its so pretty but I'm sure glad I don't have to get out much these days.

I will be getting new fabrics in the begining of  the week unless it comes this weekend yet. I will be getting in around 30 bolts or so. I haven't gotten any new in for awhile now. I can only do so much on a limited income. We only use the income that comes in from getting fabrics and selling it to get new stuff in. So I can only do so much. We will not go into debt to run a fabric store though.

My baby has grown so much. At 4 months he has more than doubled his birth weight. He now weighs 16# 1 ounce. They are going by what he went down to as he lost over 1 pound within the first week of life. He is cooing so much now, but is still content to just site and be happy.

Well I must get busy.

Good Moning this Lovely Crisp morning!!!!  We had  minus 14 degrees this morning.  That is cold!!!! Makes for a great day to stay indoors!!!! Sure makes one greatful for a warm house to live in. I'm hoping it does warm up though and not stay this cold long.

We'll do school and just have a quiet day here I think. Maybe I can even do a little sewing if I get it all worked into my day. I need to do some again. I should do some before we help a friend move to Indiana next week. Hopefully we will have good weather for helping her and her family move. I'm still waiting on my patterns to come in the mail though.

We are to have our Ladies night again tonight but not sure if we will or not since its so cold. I need to get my study lessons done though just incase we do.

Its snowing again!!! Suppose to snow several inches again this afternoon. I Love the beauty of the snow. It reminds me of how we want our live to be before our Lord. Pure as the freshly falling snow. That is what I'm striving for in my live. To be pure in Gods eyes at all times, but oh how I fail at times.

Wow Its been awhile since I posted. A lot has happened since then. God has been good to us through it all!!

We went to Canada as Planned, This friend passed away around 12 hours after we got there. So we stayed for the funeral. We were gone 1 week. We were glad we went though. We got to see many old friends at the funeral.

After we were home for about 1 1/2 weeks or so we found out that the whooping cough was making its rounds in our church. Our 2 youngest girls had it and I think the baby got a slight touch of it too. So we all went on medicine for it to prevent the baby getting it worse. After the medicine was done we were safe to go back to church but decided we better not take our baby back for a month or so. I think it was more like 6 weeks til we went back. So for the first almost 10 weeks of his life we were to church only a couple times. It was hard but God was good and we used that time to build relationships with our girls. They greatly enjoyed it but were ready to go back to church again. We went to the State parks many times in that time. We greatly enjoyed seeing God's marvalous beauty. It was so beautiful there with all the fall colors.

We are trying to finish up first grade with our oldest daughter. I'm hoping to be mostly done by Christmas. Then we can start 2nd grade in Jan.

We have all our plants ordered for next spring. We start up on Feb. 1st. We will have to decide what to do though as we got lots of sleet and it brought down a greenhouse that we were planning to use for some of the plants. We don't have the money to rebuild but we really need this greenhouse as its our livelyhood for our income. If you could all pray for us we'd appreciate it very much. And if you feel led to help out that would be much appreciated.

It is very beautiful out with the snow and sleet. We git about 3 inches of snow then about 4 inches of sleet on top of that. Atleast it wasn't pure ice lice some places got. But it was still very heavy and brought one of our greenhouses down.

My baby is growing very fast. I need to weigh him this week as he turns 4 months on Thursday. I can hardly believe that he is that old already. He is a big boy!!!
